Product Description

Though you might need a sweet tooth, you won't need green thumbs to grow strawberries indoors with our clever windowsill grow box. Traditional in-ground and container gardens outdoors are subject to the elements and wildlife, not to mention the seasons. But with our convenient kit you can grow strawberries year round in the comfort of your own kitchen. You'll find everything you need to grow bright red, sweet berries in this nifty little package:

  • An 18" long by 4.25" high planting box made from recycled US steel with a lid that doubles as a base.
  • Heirloom strawberry seeds (Fragaria spp. ‘Sarian') that grow into plants that produce berries in their very first year.
  • Growing medium for planting your seeds.

Easy-to-follow instructions on how to plant and maintain your strawberry plants. These window box strawberries make the perfect gift for adults and children alike. They are great for gardeners and naturalists who want to bring a little bit of nature indoors. Children love to receive these growing kits, too. They're a great way for kids to learn about gardening and the science of the plant life cycle as they wait eagerly for their first fruits to appear.
